Working life is boring.. because we are repeating the same task everyday. We all don’t like to work, but we still are forced to stay in the cube farm to earn a living. We are not enjoying our life during working hours.
Let’s do a simple mathematics here.
There are 24 hours a day. Let’s say we sleep 8 hours a day. That will cut down our daily activity time to 16 hours a day. If we are spending 9 hours a day on work, that will leave us only 7 hours hours a day to do other things that we like.
We have 7 days a week, and so we have total activity time of 112 hours (16 x 7). We are working 5 days a week, so out of the 112 hours, we spend 45 (9 x 5) hours working.
Percentage of working time per week: 45/112 x 100 -> 40%
See, if you don’t like your job, you are spending 40% of your time to do things that you don’t enjoy doing. So if you work for 30 years in your entire life, you will be spending 12 years of time doing things that you don’t like!
This is sad… but it’s a fact.
